2.How to measure radiator, charge air cooler, or condenser?+

How to measure core size for radiators, A/C condensers, and charge air cooler?

To measure the core size of radiators, A/C condensers, and charge air cooler, here are steps:
  1. Prepare measure tape
  2. Use measure tape to measure ONLY CENTER ALUMINUM height and width (DON'T INCLUDE PLASTIC TANK)
  3. Once you have the information, you can provide to our sale representatives or check with application by website
RDFRHD0070 MEASUREMENT

See Picture for Measurement

Please following the instruction above and left diagram to measure the core size for A/C condenser, radiators, and charge air coolers

3.How to check if radiator leaking?+

Heavy Duty or Semi- Trucks

It is easy for heavy duty trucks or semi-trucks to check the leaking because most trucks have coolant tanks that easily to observed coolant level. We usually recommend customers to use "Sharpie" to draw the maximum coolant line to check the difference between each route. If a large coolant level difference is observed, there might be the chance that the cooling system starts leaking. Here is steps by steps:

  1. Check if coolant observed underground or on radiator or coolant tank (The dried coolant is usually pink color)
  2. If yes, check where has large coolant observed. This will help you and mechanic easily to diagnosis
  3. Spray soapy water on the surface that you think it might leaking from to do the simple test. If bubbles continuously pop up, there might be chance where leaks from.
  4. However, the accuarte to test leaking will be pressure test under water tank. If the radiator is leaking, the bubble will be throughtout throughout the test.
  5. The pressure leaking test can be found by radiator shop. Check your local radiator shop to do the leaking test for accurate result.

We strongly don't recommend rebuilding or re-welding the radiator. The warranty and quality cannot be ensured.

4.If my radiator is without transmission oil cooler, can I still fit with oil cooler design?+

Yes, radiators with oil cooler line can fit for both with or without oil cooler

Transmission oil cooler is usually located at the bottom tank, and it is an individual system for radiator cooling system. Similar idea that different houses (radiator tank and oil cooler line) live in the same community. If your radiator is without oil cooler design, you can use with oil cooler to fit. The only important thing will be "DON'T CONNECT THE OIL COOLER LINE"
Transmission oil cooler

See the diagram for detail

Please refer picture to see the interior design of the bottom radiator tank with oil cooler line. Transmission oil cooler line are individual system. Thus, if trucks are without transmission oil cooler, customer can leave them alone and make sure DO NOT plug in or remove transmission oil cooler line. Otherwise, it will cause leaking and lost the warranty.

5.Is rebuilt or repair radiator good?+

Pros and Cons for Rebuilt or Repair radiator

In most of case, we do not recommend the rebuilt or repair radiator unless the radiators are discontinued or brand new radiator is slightly damaged by rocks to cause the leaking.

  • Pros

    1. Less cost
    2. Does not require long time for special order

  • Cons

    1. Warranty cannot be guarantee
    2. Quality cannot be guarantee
    3. Professional mechanic skill is required

8.How To Distinguish Between LH. vs RH?+

LH. VS. RH_

LH. vs. RH.

We use left driving to distinguish between LH. and RH. (see diagram)

  • LH stands for driver side
  • RH stands for passenger side

Example:

LH. headlight stands for driver side headlight

RH. headlight stands for passenger side headlight
